Open Lecture "Crafting Boutique Employability of International Graduates" took place on June 14.
What was the lecture about: The lecture starts with an overviews of graduates' employability as their competitive stand at the professional market, and the challenges that international graduates face at four levels of employability investments. The presentation proceeds with the study of the graduates' view on the "I should" vs. "I would" vs. "I will definitely do" actions for investing in their employability.It concludes with the outcomes of the design thinking project regarding the design of the BE-EDGE Center for Global Talents that emerged from the series of studies.
Presenter: Julia Ivy, PhD in Psych, PhD in Mgmt. Currently works as an Executive Professor of International Business and Strategy at Northeastern University, Boston USA. Julia is the author of series of publications on reflection of significant choices, navigating social capital in a low-trust vs. high-trust environments, and BE-EDGE method for employability investments
